More important than ever

Municipal parks are becoming ever increasingly more important to the wellbeing of the public. With technology at the forefront of our daily lives, social interaction is at an all-time low. Children ages 8-12 spend an average of 6.5 hours in front of a digital screen with teens spending up to 9 hours a day.

Clay County Parks Association is making it our mission to create more engaging parks to encourage children and teens to unplug and spend more time outside and around each other. Parks are more than a place to spend time outside. They are a place to allow your imagination flourish. Help us in our challenge to get our youth back outside.

Membership

As a member of the Clay Community Parks Association you are eligible to attend all meetings and voice your opinion concerning the Clay Community Parks. You can participate where it counts in improving and promoting the parks and their importance to the community. You can participate in how the Park Associating manages its finances and how its money is spent. You can be an active contributor to the well being of our community.
